PSG have reignited their interest in Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko, with The Blues reportedly demanding £32 million from the Paris side.
Frank Lampard is desperate to offload the French midfielder who has failed to make any impression since moving to Stamford Bridge three years ago.
Chelsea signed Bakayoko in the summer of 2017 for £40m, as per BBC Sport. The Frenchman endured a difficult debut season and was subsequently sent out on loan to AC Milan for the following campaign.
Milan are reportedly keen on re-signing the ace after his successful loan spell, but the Rossoneri are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s price-tag for the permanent signing next summer.
The Ligue 1 champions PSG have declared an interest in taking the player on-loan this season and could pay a fee of £4.6m to do so.
Chelsea would then demand the remaining £27.4m be paid next summer, making the move permanent and finally get the midfielder off their books.
Last year, Bakayoko said he would not be against a move back to France.
“Yes, for sure, one day I would like to play in Paris,” he told L’equipe last year.
I cannot lie about it. It’s big for me and my loved ones. We are real Parisians.”
