Genoa are said to be in negotiations to offer Mario Balotelli a one-year contract after his ill-fated stint at Brescia.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sportitalia, the player was proposed to the club by agent Mino Raiola.
Balotelli is a free agent after an acrimonious season at Brescia, where he did not play after the lockdown due to disagreements with the club.
A one-year contract with option for a second is reportedly on offer at Genoa, where new Genoa director Daniele Faggiano is said to be a longtime admirer of Balotelli.
The maverick ex-Man City forward is also thought to be on the radar or MLS side LA Galaxy, with the side looking to fill the void left by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
With Galaxy said to be uneasy about paying his high wages, there has also been speculation that Besiktas were willing to pay the former Liverpool flop £43,000-a-week to come to Turkey.
