Ashley Young has tested positive for Covid-19, becoming the sixth Inter Milan player to be infected in the last week.
The Serie A club confirmed the development on Sunday, adding that Young was now in quarantine at home.
Other players to be infected include midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan.
Defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar returned positive tests while with the Italy under-21 and Slovakia senior squads, respectively.
Based on Serie A rules any player that tests positive will have to quarantine for 14 days, meaning Inter will be without key players in the October 17 derby against AC Milan.
