The agent of Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi has confirmed discussions over the France Under-21 international’s future are continuing, but insists no decision has yet been made despite mounting speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur.

Kroupi enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough campaign last season, scoring 13 Premier League goals in 33 appearances to become the competition’s highest-scoring teenage debutant and help Bournemouth qualify for the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club’s history.

His outstanding form has attracted interest from several leading clubs, with Tottenham currently pushing hardest to secure his signature.

Speaking to 365 Scores, Kroupi’s representative Moussa Sissoko dismissed suggestions that an agreement had already been reached with either Tottenham or Barcelona, while confirming negotiations over the striker’s future remain active.

“We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens in the coming days; at the moment there is no final decision.”

The comments come after reports claimed Spurs are preparing a major offer worth around £75 million to begin negotiations, although Bournemouth are believed to value the 20-year-old much closer to £90-100 million.

New Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi is understood to have made signing another striker one of his priorities as he reshapes his squad. Kroupi is viewed as a player capable of providing genuine competition for Dominic Solanke while adding pace, movement and clinical finishing to Spurs’ attack.

Arsenal and Chelsea continue to monitor the situation closely and could yet enter the race if negotiations between Tottenham and Bournemouth stall. Barcelona have also been linked with the French forward, although Sissoko’s latest comments suggest no deal is currently in place with the Spanish champions.

Despite the growing transfer speculation, Bournemouth remain determined to retain one of Europe’s brightest young forwards and have consistently indicated they do not want to sell this summer, particularly after qualifying for European competition.

For now, Tottenham appear to be leading the pursuit, but with Kroupi’s camp insisting no final decision has been reached, the race for one of the Premier League’s most exciting young strikers remains wide open.
