Arsenal could reportedly sign Juventus star Kenan Yildiz in 2027, but only if they submit an offer approaching €150million (£128m).
The Gunners have identified the Turkey international as a potential long-term solution on the left wing after failing to prise him away from Juventus during the summer transfer window.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Juventus rejected enquiries and proposals worth more than €100m for Yildiz, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur among the interested clubs.
However, Juve could reconsider their position next year if they receive an extraordinary offer for the 21-year-old.
Juventus demand close to €150m
Di Marzio believes Juventus would demand significantly more than €100m before opening negotiations over their number 10.
He suggested offers of €110m or €120m would not be enough and placed Yildiz’s potential value closer to €150m.
The valuation reflects both the player’s importance to Juventus and the strength of his contractual situation.
Yildiz signed a new agreement in February that runs until June 2030. Juventus described him as central to the club’s present and future, while chief executive Damien Comolli publicly ruled out selling him in May.
There is therefore no official indication that Juventus are actively looking to cash in on the winger.
Di Marzio’s comments instead represent an estimate of what it might take to change the Italian club’s stance.
Juventus have also signed highly rated youngster Kerim Alajbegović, who has been described as a possible long-term successor to Yildiz. That addition has fuelled speculation that the club could eventually consider a record-breaking sale.
Why Arsenal want Yildiz
Arsenal attempted to add an elite left-sided attacker during the summer, with Yildiz, Vinicius Junior, Morgan Rogers and Julian Alvarez all linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium.
Yildiz remains an attractive option because he can operate from the left wing, as a number 10 or behind a central striker.
The Turkey international combines close control and dribbling ability with the confidence to shoot from distance. His versatility would give Mikel Arteta several ways to use him alongside Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal’s squad already contains exceptional depth in defence and midfield, but another match-winning attacker could add greater balance to their strongest starting side.
A £128m transfer would comfortably break Arsenal’s club record, however, and would represent a huge financial commitment for a player still developing at the highest level.
Yildiz and Alvarez deals remain a dream
Arsenal have also been linked with another attempt to sign Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez in 2027.
If both deals were completed, Arteta could theoretically field an attack featuring Yildiz, Alvarez and Saka, supported by Odegaard and Declan Rice.
That would undoubtedly give Arsenal one of the most exciting teams in Europe, but suggestions it could become the greatest starting eleven in Premier League history are premature.
Neither Yildiz nor Alvarez is currently close to joining the club, and signing both could require a combined investment comfortably exceeding £200m.
For now, Yildiz remains a reported Arsenal target rather than an active transfer negotiation. What appears clear is that Juventus would demand an exceptional offer before allowing their prized young attacker to leave Turin.
