Manchester United have made a daring bid to sign £150million-rated Alexander Isak after Liverpool had their £110m bid rejected by Newcastle United.
According to Sky Germany, the Red Devils made an enquiry for Isak this week but the problem is the striker has made it clear he only wants to join Liverpool. But will Liverpool increase their bid?
Its thought if Liverpool do not lodge a second bid to match his valuation, United are sniffing around ready to pounce.
Newcastle value their striker at £150m but the Swede has so far refused to join his teammates on the club’s pre-season tour as he tries to force through a move.
Isak is training alone in Spain at his former club Real Sociedad from where he joined The Magpies in a £60m deal in August 2022.
Manchester United meanwhile are also looking at the possibility of signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig or alternatively Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.
