Arsenal are reportedly preparing a major move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season.

The France international has become one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards following another impressive campaign for PSG, and his stock has risen even further after making an immediate impact at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Barcola came off the bench to score in France’s 3-1 victory over Senegal in their opening group-stage match, finishing calmly after being released by a perfectly weighted pass from Adrien Rabiot. The goal further highlighted why the 23-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in European football.

According to reports, Arsenal are readying an offer worth around €80 million (£69 million) in an attempt to lure the winger to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The North London club are understood to be long-term admirers of Barcola and view him as a player capable of adding pace, creativity and goal-scoring threat to their frontline. His ability to operate across multiple attacking positions has made him an attractive target for Arteta’s recruitment team.

However, completing a deal will not be straightforward.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly valuing the French star closer to €100 million (£87 million), creating a significant gap between Arsenal’s expected opening offer and the Ligue 1 champions’ demands.

Despite that, there is growing speculation that Barcola could consider a move if it offers him greater opportunities for regular starts. Competition for places remains fierce at PSG, and several elite clubs are monitoring his situation closely.

Arsenal are not alone in their admiration.

Liverpool are also believed to be tracking Barcola as they continue to assess options to strengthen their attacking department. Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have also been linked with the France international, underlining the level of interest surrounding his future.

Barcola’s rise has been remarkable. After emerging through the ranks at Lyon, he earned a high-profile move to PSG and has since established himself as an important member of both club and country. His blend of speed, technical ability and composure in front of goal has drawn praise from across Europe.

For Arsenal, signing a player of Barcola’s calibre would represent a major statement of intent as they continue their pursuit of Premier League and Champions League success.

Whether PSG are willing to negotiate remains unclear, but with Arsenal preparing to test the French club’s resolve, Barcola’s future is likely to become one of the most closely followed stories of the transfer window.
